Abstract

The barista training organized by the Labor Office of Tangerang City aims to improve work skills in the coffee industry. This activity took place over three days (April 23–25, 2025) with 30 participants of productive age. The training included theory (types of coffee, processing methods, coffee equipment), followed by practical coffee-making sessions (latte art, brewing). The integrated training method combined lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on practice. Evaluation results showed an increase in knowledge and skills in coffee brewing, as well as the growth of entrepreneurial motivation among participants. This activity is relevant to the needs of the growing domestic coffee market and supports the reduction of unemployment risk by strengthening vocational competencies. In conclusion, the barista training had a significant social impact by empowering participants as prospective workers or coffee entrepreneurs.
