Abstract

The role of a father is crucial for individual development, and the impact of his absence is significant, including juvenile delinquency, poor emotional control, aggressive behavior in boys, and low self-esteem and psychological well-being. Individuals are also vulnerable to inequality, low self-esteem, emotional instability, and interpersonal difficulties. Expressive writing offers a therapeutic solution by facilitating the expression of emotions that are difficult to express verbally, reducing stress and anxiety, and supporting the self-healing process. There are several stages of activities carried out, namely Recognition/Initial writing, Examination/writing practice, Juxtaposition or Feedback, Application to the Self. Expressive writing workshops have been shown to help individuals reflect on traumatic experiences, manage emotions, and increase self-awareness, thus contributing to better emotional well-being.
