Building Dreams Together: The Role of Family in Achieving Teenagers' Dream Careers

Abstract

This community service program aims to deepen understanding and raise awareness among parents and students regarding the crucial role of the family in facilitating and providing comprehensive support for adolescents in realizing their dream career aspirations. The adolescence period, which continues into the early years of college, is a formative stage that determines the direction and trajectory of future careers. Targeted and proportional family support, encompassing emotional, informational, and practical dimensions, serves as a solid foundation for students in the process of exploring interests, developing their maximum potential, and ultimately, achieving their desired career goals. This activity is designed and will be implemented through a series of interactive sessions involving the delivery of relevant and in-depth material, dynamic group discussions, and comprehensive case study analysis. The main objective of this activity is to empower both parents and students in establishing effective communication channels and formulating solid collaborative strategies for directed career planning.
