Abstract

Teacher performance evaluation is a crucial element in ensuring the quality of education. However, the current process at SMK Banjar Asri is still subjective, as it solely relies on student questionnaires administered via Google Form. This limitation leads to inaccurate evaluation results, which cannot serve as a solid basis for strategic decision-making, such as professional development or awarding recognitions. To address this issue, this research aims to design and build a web based decision support system (DSS) capable of evaluating teacher performance in an objective and structured manner. This system implements the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method to process assessment data based on four national standard criteria: Pedagogical, Professional, Personal, and Social Competencies. The SAW method was selected for its ability to rank the best alternatives based on weighted criteria. The result of this research is a web-based application capable of processing teacher assessment data, performing matrix normalization, and generating a final teacher performance ranking in a transparent and measurable way. This system is expected to serve as an effective tool for school management in making fairer and more accurate decisions, as well as supporting the continuous professional development of teachers.
