About the Journal

The International Journal of Counseling and Human Development (IJCHD) is an open-access, peer-reviewed scientific journal published by Nirwasita Dharma Cendekia (NDC) in strategic partnership with the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM), Nahdatul Ulama University Cirebon. This collaboration is dedicated to fostering global academic exchange, enhancing research quality, and broadening the impact of counseling and human development studies across international institutions. The journal serves as a premier platform for researchers, academics, and practitioners to disseminate original research exploring the vital intersection of counseling theory and practice with the study of human development across the lifespan. Its comprehensive scope encompasses foundational counseling techniques, professional ethics, multicultural perspectives, mental health, and developmental dynamics from childhood to old age. Starting with its inaugural issue, Volume 1, Number 1, in January 2026, IJCHD will be published quarterly on a regular schedule in January, April, July, and October, ensuring a timely and consistent flow of innovative research that advances counseling and human well-being globally.
